After signing up and completing the payment, we'll contact you to arrange the date and time for the first teaching session via Skype, WhatsApp or Facetime. We'll also send you detailed instructions for the Buteyko homework exercises you should do before the teaching session, which includes reading the course manual and listening to the spoken audio instructions.
During the first teaching session we'll review how your Buteyko homework exercises went. We'll pay special attention to those aspects which were difficult or problematic in order to raise your skills to a higher level. We'll also answer any questions you have regarding the practice or theoretical aspects of Buteyko and review any positive or negative changes in disease symtoms or quality of life. We'll also talk about how you should proceed with Buteyko in the next few days to prepare for the second teaching session which often takes place 2 or 3 days after the first.
Often, at the end of the first teaching session you will be ready for a slight and gradual increase in your level of Buteyko practice. If you're not quite ready for the increase in level yet, we'll ask you to gain some more experience at the current level before moving up further. The goal is for you to be practicing well at the current level before moving to the next level to develop your skills further.
During the second teaching session, we'll again review your practice of the past few days, solve any problems you experienced and prepare you for the next slightly higher levels. In this way, you'll gradually raise your Buteyko Breathing skills while being personally guided by an instructor at increasing levels of Buteyko Breathing. You'll learn to practice Buteyko effectively and build a strong foundation in Buteyko Breathing to benefit your health, performance and wellbeing. During each teaching session you'll receive additional Buteyko Breathing exercises, customized to what works best for you.
After completing the 2 teaching sessions of the Intro Buteyko Course, you can upgrade to the complete course here. We'll then continue with the third session of the Complete Buteyko Course which usually takes 3 to 5 weeks to complete. Doing the Intro Course is a good way to see how we work and will give you an initial taste of the benefits of doing the complete course course.
If you continue with the Complete Buteyko Course, you'll receive feedback, guidance and instruction based on your current progress during each of the subsequent teaching sessions. After all 7 teaching sessions are done, you'll be able to continue doing the exercises independently on your own. Many students will still benefit from having additional teaching sessions after the course is completed, perhaps once a month or so, and this can be arranged with your instructor on a session-by-session or ongoing basis as desired.

The complete course takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Please make sure you can do at least three Buteyko Breathing sessions daily during that time. One Buteyko session takes between 10 to 15 minutes and the sessions work best if they're spread out over the day.
